dataplicity - Terminal for Pi
dataplicity is an Android application that enables remote access to the Raspberry Pi shell from any network without dynamic DNS, port forwarding, or VPN. This application is designed for individuals who want to have access to their Raspberry Pi shell at all times, regardless of their location.
The dataplicity client uses a secure websockets connection to provide a communication channel between the device and dataplicity, and the web browser attaches to the other end of that channel. It does not require SSH, telnet, or any other network services to operate, and does not open any network ports on the device. The client connection is initiated from the device end and does not open any local ports.
To use this application, you will need to install the dataplicity agent on the Pi. The dataplicity agent does not run as root, and when you log into the dataplicity shell, you still need to explicitly ask for superuser rights to gain full control.
